Massages at a beach club? Count us in.
Look
Cocoon is a beach club located in Seminyak at the bottom of Jl Double Six. The beachfront venue has a full service restaurant and bar that serves contemporary cocktails and dishes along with an epic pool surrounded by pool loungers and day beds. It’s all very sleek with a lot of light colors to get you into the beachy mood. Cocoon is also blessed with a slight ocean breeze helping keep you cool while you get your tan on. The spa section itself is at any day bed located on the back wall. They have curtains for privacy, or you can leave them open and soak in some lateral sun light.
Feel
We chose their Lymphatic Drainage Massage (242k) which lasted 60 minutes and was an absolutely revitalizing experience. The therapist leads you to your private daybed and places you on your belly before applying a generous amount of oil on your back. The massage was wonderful with broad strokes focusing on your meridians and lymphatic nodes. The result was somewhere between a traditional Balinese massage and a deep tissue massage and was very relaxing.
Ingredients
Cocoon uses ginger cinnamon herbal oil for all the massages. The oil had a pleasant smell that was refreshingly light.
Magic
Cocoon is an amazing beach club in itself and when you’re having a few cocktails and getting some sun, a massage just seems to go hand in hand. Chill on the daybed, down a few cocktails, go for a few laps in the pool and get an amazing massage before getting your party on. How good is that?
