OPIVM kicked off their new Thursday underground events last week, and with Laly Dehu in the house it looks set that Thursdays will be grooving in the right direction at the new club putting Dhyana Pura back on the map.
French Laly Dehu has a solid background in developing party concepts in Europe since six years ago, especially France and Ibiza, in clubs like Rex Club Paris, Show Case, Faust, Sankeys Ibiza and Sonica Radio also in Ibiza. During the last two years she’s been pushing her underground horizons into the new clubbing scene of Asia – and that now includes Bali.
Over the years she has worked with artists like Solomun, Sven Vath, Luciano, Apollonia, Damian Lazarus, Adriatique, Magda, Butch, Popoff, Christian Burkhardt, Yokoo, Francesca Lombardo, Fur Coat. All legends in the Underground.
Now she’s in OPIVM with a full gamut of ideas including one of her most famous concepts from Ibiza, directed by her partner Marco Bassi, called “Unusual Suspects”, followed by a night dedicated to support the Asian scene – “ASU Night”, pushing the residents from Asia, Australia and Middle East.
The female DJs from the underground scene will find the support they need to stand out in this male clubbing world too. -There are a lot of talented producers and incredible women to support so we present the new night “TRASH-ELLA”,” says Laly. Asia swarms with female artists and Europe also has very good names…and we will have them right here at OPIVM.
She plans to make a little bit more noise bringing one major headliner night per month with her party “INCEPTION”. This week, Thursday Feb 16 you can look forward to the exceptional sounds of Japanese producer, Takashi Himeoka.
She also has confirmed over the next weeks … Gabby, Bella Saris, Rainer, Anthea, Frank Storm, Rick Maia… and her residents Raff Track and Kaiser Waldon… with a whole lot more coming soon!
