Brazilian Aussie BBQ Seminyak

Dining out with friends doesn’t come easy in the rainy days, but meat lovers such as my friend and I would do pretty much anything for a delicious meat fest – especially when it’s at the famous Brazilian Aussie BBQ Seminyak I’ve heard so much about.

The rain was pretty brutal that night, so much so that the rain jacket did very little to keep me dry. Arriving at the restaurant soaking wet was the only unpleasant part about the evening as the minute I walked in, I could smell some kind of meat paradise ahead of me.

My friend was already there and picked a table for us outside, it’s impressive that the restaurant was still busy despite it raining cats and dogs. It must be that good, I thought.

A mouth watering spread including an amazing variety of salads and soups and the rotisserie grill full of all sorts of meaty goodness at the back, such as rump cap, beef hump, garlic beef, michui (Brazilian style kebab), top sirloin, beef ribs, chicken and more. Not to mention a variety of sides such as roast potatoes, lyonaise potatoes, steam white rice and more are also available.

Comfortably seated with a plateful of fresh salad on the table and a refreshing glass of tropical slushy IDR 30K, the staff started to bring in a variety of meats on skewers and shaving it right to your plate, the carvings itself was very fascinating to watch. Beautifully sliced picanha was the first to fill up our plate, along with Chorizo sausages, lambs and delicious garlic bread. The picanha was our favorite right away, melting right in my mouth as it was grilled perfectly tender and juicy, lamb was real tasty and I absolutely loved the tasty Chorizo sausages.

Beef hump skewer and pineapple came next, plenty of hump slices and I specifically asked for only two slices of pineapple as I didn’t think it would go that good with the rest on my plate… Boy was I dead wrong. While the hump was yet another juicy and tender meat goodness – the pineapple was a big wowzer to my taste… and I wanted more. The waiter kept on coming with the glazed pineapple and I just couldn’t have enough of its amazing sweetness. Though the meat was the main star, the grilled pineapple was quite a highlight.

The restaurant opens daily 4 – 11pm, offering a delightful dining experience with great ambiance, where service is very attentive, food is plentiful and exceptionally tasty. An ultimate destination to indulge all your meat cravings, where you can enjoy an amazing selection of assorted meats with just as amazing sides – all that, priced at IDR 187K for adults and 95K for children under 10 years old. If you’re not a meat eater, there’s more than enough food options available from salads to soups you can enjoy for only IDR 95K. A great selection of cocktails, wine and spirits are available too.
