Providing fresh, high quality produce for all their outlets, the W’s new garden is bringing new life to the menu. With 362 square-metres of space to grow fruit & vegetables, the garden sustains all dining and bar outlets, from Starfish Bloo to Fire and Woobar. Everything from the chillies that will grow to create their own sambal creations; coriander that will hero in the Peking Duck Paper Rolls, fresh herbs will provide new flavours to key dishes and all lettuces served at Fire will come straight from the garden. Farm-to table concepts teach the cooks, chefs and guests where the food comes from, shows us an understanding of how long it takes to grow these products and how to respect the ingredients before they arrive on your plate. Guests will have the opportunity to harvest the freshest products by participating in the “Wanna be Chef” at Starfish Bloo. Find out more on www.marriot.com.
