Setting up an exciting initiative, The W invites island residing artists to come and showcase their self created design and interpretations for the iconic logo the sits in front of the Indian Ocean. Previous artists include Julien Thorax (piece pictured above), known as “Trax”, who has been involved in the European graffiti and street art scene for over ten years, as well as Tracy Hamer whose art is mostly figurative and isolating specific aspects of the human anatomy. New artists and designs are introduced every two months, with the next artist being Pansaka, so be sure to check it out at W Bali-Seminyak next time you are there.
