Now – May 16 | The Oberoi Bali

The Oberoi Bali showcases the works of Indonesian artist, Adrian Palar, in an exhibition themed “The Purity of Esthetic”. The artist’s abstract geometric works express a vision of the world, implicitly showcasing the Indonesian nature, as well as its colors. For him, the world is structured along two lines; the horizontal which expresses the complexity of natural and social reality, and the vertical which expresses one’s attempt to escape and relate to the unknown and godly. These lines are often expressed in green, representing his idea of living among the rice fields.
