#Hell Sign

Now- January 20th | Titian Art Space

Titian Art space is currently presenting a solo exhibtion by I Made Sujendra with his exploration of painting styles within the framework of the Batuan technique with simpler, more minimal configurations that balance the empty space. In the “Hell Sign” exhibition, Sujendra depicts the underworld according to Balinese belief in which human are subjected to their life choices and the karmic consequences. Eleven paintings and two installations are featured in Hell Sign. Eight paintings are grouped together and presented as an installation that includes a large, flowing minimal red line mural of demonic creatures painted upon the gallery floor.
