The Oberoi Bali currently displays works by Yonatan Rumion in an exhibition titled “Ethical Feelings”. This exhibition sees the artist portray his view about the increasing tension between Bali’s tourism industry and local culture. It is presented in his signature comic style, featuring lines, figures and texts that build interactive narratives. Meanwhile, his objects are close to daily life, yet deformed and sometimes mischievous.
