Miss Fish Launches YOKAI next Thursday

YOKAI: A New Thursday Night Ritual of Music, Mystery, and Performance

Miss Fish Bali introduces YOKAI, a new weekly Thursday night experience launching on Thursday, May 14, bringing together music, live performance, and Japanese-inspired mystery in one immersive late-night ritual.

Inspired by yōkai, the supernatural spirits and mysterious beings of Japanese folklore, YOKAI invites guests into a world where sound, movements, acrobatic performances and spectacle come alive after dark.

Designed as more than a DJ night, YOKAI combines a curated music program with cirque-inspired performances and unexpected moments throughout the evening. Guests can expect headline DJs, hypnotic live acts, dance, acrobatics, and a darker, more cinematic side of Miss Fish.

Drawing from the energy of contemporary cirque, the performances are woven into the night rather than presented as a separate show — creating moments of surprise that move with the music and build the atmosphere throughout the evening.

At the center of the weekly program is MOFU, who will headline YOKAI every Thursday and lead the sound of the night. As the resident headliner for the concept, MOFU brings consistency, identity, and momentum to YOKAI, supported each week by guest DJs and live performances that evolve the experience.

YOKAI is launched in collaboration with SURGA Community Bali, joining as the official partner to support the event. Known for bringing together music, connection, and purpose, SURGA Community adds a strong community-driven energy to the launch of Miss Fish’s new Thursday night ritual.

The collaboration reflects a shared vision between Miss Fish and SURGA: to create experiences that go beyond the dance floor, connecting music, people, and purpose in one immersive night.

“YOKAI is created as a weekly ritual — a night with its own identity, energy, and story,” says Winda, Marketing Manager Miss Fish. “It brings together music and performance in a way that feels immersive, mysterious, and unforgettable.”

The launch night features MOFU, YOKAI’s weekly headliner, alongside Brodie Nero and Koda Prague, setting the tone for what will become Miss Fish’s signature Thursday night.

With YOKAI, Thursday takes on a new meaning at Miss Fish: a night of music, mystery, performance, and the unexpected.

Thursday belongs to YOKAI.
