It’s all happening at KU DE TA this weekend with the greatest show on the island ready to be rolled out once more. Probably more so than ever, the annual KU DE TA White Party, is the most anticipated annual event in Bali and is set to take place on Saturday, August 17, 2024. The theme this year, “Eyes White Shut” promises a night of unparalleled mystery and elegance, drawing inspiration from the enigmatic allure of Venetian mystique and hidden societies.
Renowned for its immersive and captivating experiences, KU DE TA White Party has become a legendary event on Bali’s social calendar. Partygoers from around the globe, including Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai, all of Europe and around Indonesia join with local expats and local Balinese alike to flock to this exclusive celebration. This year, the event is set to exceed all expectations, with an extraordinary lineup and an exclusive atmosphere of intrigue.
So what is the line-up? Headlining the evening this year is none other than the internationally acclaimed DJ and producer, Nicole Moudaber. Known for her electrifying sets and unique sound, Moudaber, who can be found headlining massive parties from Ibiza, New York to London will be behind the decks and taking guests on a musical journey that has probably never been seen at a White Party ever before. Expect something special.
The Beat managed to squeeze in a moment to ask a very busy Arshad Rizvi, Music Director at KU DE TA, for any insights in what we can expect on Saturday night. This will be his 7th edition of White Party from concept to production. He is both director and producer for the event, with assistance from, as he says, the best AV and decoration vendors on the island.
What does the title ‘Eyes White Shut’ mean exactly?
It’s taking reference from Stanley Kubrick’s movie “Eyes Wide Shut”; Where the high society appears to live in luxury but have little freedom, prisoned in their golden cage. They stay private within their class. With their hidden lusts and temptations, they need to wear masks and keep secrets in relationships.
So this is their chance to get out of the house!

What do you think Nicole Moudaber will bring to the show?
She will be dressed in white! Ha. (As she always wears black). Her energetic and joyful appearance behind the decks, and her uplifting music, all together will make the island rumble this evening. We are ready to rumble!
