HΛNNΛH X Releases Groundbreaking Single “Kecak Awakening”

The single was released via Revealed Recordings last week and it comes as no surprise it’s recieving support from a score of industry heavyweights.

The track is an innovative, powerful fusion of traditional Indonesian sounds and cutting-edge electronic music, showcasing HΛNNΛH X’s unique ability to blend cultural heritage with modern rhythms. With this powerful (bigroom blended) techno track Hannah could be joining the techno queen ranks of Stella Bossi, Charlotte de Witt, or even Nina Kravitz, but with a fresh, original take on the genre.

Inspired by the mesmerizing Balinese Kecak dance, “Kecak Awakening” is an auditory journey that transports listeners to the heart of Indonesia. The track features rhythmic chanting and the traditional gamelan, seamlessly integrated with pulsating electronic beats. This fusion creates a hypnotic soundscape that is both deeply rooted in tradition and unmistakably contemporary.

Released under the prestigious Revealed Recordings, known for supporting some of the biggest names in electronic music, “Kecak Awakening” has already garnered support from major industry figures such as Hardwell, Dada Life, and Cuebrick. Their endorsements highlight the track’s impact and potential in the electronic music scene. Additionally, the track has quickly climbed the ranks, making its way onto Beatport’s Hype Techno Chart at #53.

“I wanted to create something that celebrates the beauty and complexity of Indonesian culture while making it accessible to a wider audience,” says HΛNNΛH X. “Kecak Awakening is a tribute to the energy and spirit of the Kecak dance, but with a modern twist that I hope resonates with listeners everywhere.”
