You could call this week…. busy. To begin with a major international electronic music festival, Ultra Beach Bali is coming to town for two nights and starts on Thursday and continues through Friday. It is being held at Café el Mar in the Batubelig/South Berawa area. The set-up is enormous (well, it was last year at least) and the line-up is to match. If you like your banging EDM sounds played by some of the biggest names on the worldwide circuit, of course you gotta be there. Resistance, the more underground part of the Ultra show, is being held at Atlas Super Club later Thursday night. Get your tickets at ultrabali.com/tickets and don’t look back.
Savaya, in the southern reaches of the island, is not to be outdone and features a trifecta of big named shows from Friday to Sunday; Alok & Deadmau5 take good care of Friday and Saturday, while Gioli & Assia and Birds of Mind line up on Sunday!
David Trauts and friends headed to central Kuta last weekend. The objective was to find out what was going on in the old pearl of Bali nightlife, sadly hit by a lack of interest in recent years. See below for the details.
There is always so much going on around this island. It’s crazy.
