The season has begun. Well, that’s according to ‘the home of techno’ in Seminyak, Red Ruby, as they will be holding a party this Saturday night with the name ‘Season Launch Party’. And I suppose you would have to agree with them. It’s almost June, the sun is shining, the weather’s great, and tourist numbers are hitting records again. So they tell me in the Bali Sun, anyway. Last Friday we were down at Tropical Temptation to catch Ten Walls spin out some awesome stuff – his old and new music, while dancing around bare footed in the white sands of the beach at TT. It’s pretty cool down there. I must say. Maybe not so many peeps about, but such a great experience.
The big event this weekend has to be the Erykah Badu show at Potato Head, but alas, it is sold out, a full house, and not a single ticket to be had, unless you get lucky somehow. Also in the same zone and same night, DJ Harvey will be closing out his May residency at Klymax. Sure to be a big night in Petitenget. Meanwhile, get your party gear on as next week, Ultra Bali is happening at Café del Mar. The biggest EDM show in town will be as big as ever this year with a slew of top tier DJs from around the world banging out some classic EDM numbers on Thursday and Friday night – next week.
