Editorial. This week in Bali.

Photo Above. All praise to the dry season. After such a heavy wet season, we welcome the dry. Thank you.

Easter holidays are here, more or less. Today is Good Friday and most schools are on holidays, especially Aussie schools – they are kicking off their autumn break right now. There should be an uptick in people around, but with the prevailing war-like conditions and global energy issues it is hard to say how much of an uptick there will be. Once again we will have to reiterate our hope for a speedy return to world peace. We realise sometimes it’s not so peaceful, with all the pushing around that goes on between these volitle countries, but I’m sure this war could be wound down a lot and quickly with level heads at play.

As you can see from the photos, I wasn’t up to much nightlife this past week. Basically, taking some time off for a recharge and hang at the beach.

Photos Above: The weather has been hot but perfect over the past week. These photos are at Double Six and Berawa beaches. I hope you are getting the chance to enjoy it.

It is a busy weekend coming for events this week. All the major venues have something big organised, so with the beautiful weather and trade winds arriving back in town heralding the new dry season, it is a great time to be here. Enjoy your time on the island.

Have a good weekend you all!
