So, it has been the wedding week for me. My daughter Paloma was married to Jian Mason at a beautiful ceremony and reception at his parent’s property, Ady’s Inn in Legian on Wednesday.
Such a great day and we wish the newly weds all the best for their future together. The wedding week continues, though, with family and friend guests still in town for a while longer, so for that reason I will keep this week’s editorial short.
Day Zero turned out to be even larger than anyone could have guessed, or predicted here in last week’s editorial. My experience started with VIP passes for the Patron Exxtra Lost Stage at Day Zero that was more of chill out zone from the main area. As you could imagine, tequila and margaritas were going down in truck loads, which helped to kick the event off in the right frame.
Photos Above: Most of these pics are from inside the Patron Xxtra Lost Stage, which was like a tequila oasis just to the side of the main area of Day Zero Festival at GWK last Friday night.
The main stage was on fire from start (5pm) to finish (9am). The DJ list was phenomenal, the set up was like never before, the crowd was also awesome, you could even say stunning, and the event was by far the best ever staged at GWK – and I have been to most.
Day Zero started in Tulum at the end, or reset, of the Mayan Calendar in 2012. This was the first time the event was held here in Bali and something tells me it will be back again.
Next, my daughter’s wedding, which was held last Wednesday, and was one of the greatest and most beautiful events I have been part of. Such a romantic, story book, fairy tale moment we shall all cherish. I will just leave some photos here for prosperity and wish them well for their future happiness.

Have a good weekend you all!
