Double Touch back at Woobar this week

Double Touch are on their way to Bali this week to spin some classic sunset/early evening tracks at W Bali’s Woobar this Saturday, 3 February, 2024.

The Sydney and Los Angeles based duo consisting of classical pianist/composer Van-Anh Nguyen and DJ/drummer/producer Mark Olsen have made some massive waves in the organic, melodic music worlds releasing on labels such as All Day I Dream and Soundgarden over the past few years with great success.

They first found global fame when Lee Burridge, head honcho at All Day I Dream, played three of their tracks in his 2018 MIXLAB NYC set on Youtube. After releasing their critically acclaimed debut EP “Adagio” on All Day I Dream, Double Touch became one of the great breakthrough artists of 2019. They were first here in Bali warming up for Burridge at a memorable and icon Cercle show at Omnia (now Savaya) in 2019. From that point they became staples on All Day I Dream events around the world, which further cemented Double Touch’s position in melodic circles.

Blending their two worlds of classical and electronic music to form a unique dreamy mix of acoustic and electro sounds that range from ambient soundscapes to melodic house, Double Touch weave their musicianship, virtuosity and contagious energy deep into their live creations. Their shows are a true experience for attendees that blend DJ set and live performance adding live keyboards and percussion to create something special and contagious between crowd and stage.

Double Touch have also released on Buddha Bar, TrybesOf, Hoomidaas, When We Dip and garnered many No 1 hits on platforms like Beatport for tracks like ‘Storm’, ‘Greatest Day’, ‘So Free’ ‘Claire de Lune’ and many more. They have performed their hybrid DJ set with live instrumentation all over the globe from NYC, Ibiza, California, Australia to Mykonos and this Saturday they are again at Woobar for another massive, but chilled, outdoor show that you are bound to love. Don’t miss it.
