Indosole

The footwear brand started almost by accident when founder Kyle Parsons broke his sandals during a trip to Bali. By chance, the pair that he bought to replace the damaged ones made from repurposed motorbike tires. The unique look and backstory prompted Kyle to learn more about the product, eventually learning that one billion waste tires end up in landfills every year.

Indosole was launched in 2009 in an effort to alleviate this immense waste problem on a larger scale. Not only is the product extremely eco-friendly, it is also incredibly durable and long-lasting—making sure that broken sandals are a problem of the past. The brand has taken their mission even further by supporting high work standards for local artisans and becoming certified as a force for change. You can find their products all over Bali and at their Canggu flagship store.
