The Yoga Barn

The Yoga Barn is a space set amongst the beautiful rice fields of Ubud. A place for health and wellness that opens its doors to visitors of Bali and locals alike. This year they celebrated their tenth anniversary, providing a lush and inspiring space for contemplation, rejuvenation and nourishment of the body, mind and spirit. The Yoga Barn provides its resident yogies and visiting teachers with the highest quality learning programs.
Their establishment is known to be one of the biggest retreat centers in South East Asia consisting of 6 yoga studios, a 12 room guest house, a healing center with cleansing and colonics, an ayurvedic massage & treatment center, a branch of the Bali Yoga Shop and a healing hut that is currently under construction. Their outdoor amphitheater offers a juice bar as well as a branch of Ubud’s local restaurant gem, Kafe which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Inside The Yoga Barn you can also find Kush, an ayurvedic rejuvenation center that offers foot therapy, whole body therapies such as The Balancing Ayuryoga Massage, upper body therapies such as the Ayurvedic Facial Massage and clinical therapies such as Kati Basti which is a treatment that deeply penetrates the body, nourishes and relaxes the nervous system, bringing you to a profound state of deep relaxation.
The Yoga Barn has over 100 classes scheduled weekly, these include Classical Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Power, Pranayama, Restorative, Yin, Anusara, Meditation, Sound Healing, Tibetan Bowls, Crystal Bowls, Kirtan, Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Pilates and their prominent ecstatic dance held on Friday mornings and Sunday evenings. But be sure to arrive early if you wish to attend the dancing as they start selling tickets 90 minutes before the event and they tend to run out within minutes. If you would prefer, you can also begin your personal yoga journey with private one on one classes. This could be the perfect opportunity to learn advanced poses or recover from injury or illness.
