The grand opening and celebration of “World Oceans Day” is being held at the Community Environment & Skills Center in Benoa by the Australian Consul-General, Dr Helena Studdert on Thursday, June 7. Helping to give this massive problem the attention it deserves, our oceans are in a state of emergency. The conference will showcase international and local guest speakers starting at 4:00 pm as well as performances by Bali WISE Students at 3:00 pm & 6:00 pm. The event will start at 3pm with registration and the opening ceremony and finish with organic food and drinks from 6pm. Let’s make sure we all do our part, whether you are a tourist, expat or local, help conserve the beautiful eco systems, biodiversity, beaches and reefs so we can pass this beautiful island on to our children and children’s children. For more information and booking contact Rama at media@rolefoundation.org or 0361 4771657.
