The Grand Istana Rama Hotel has humbly received numerous awards during the 2019 Tri Hita Karana and Melapa Melapi Awards, hosted on the 29th of November at the Taman Wedhi Cultural Art Center. The Tri Hita Karana awards highlight establishments within the tourism sector, rewarding those that implement and honor the Balinese “THK” philosophy, in which is the harmony between spirituality, nature and neighboring environments, while preserving and highlighting the importance of Balinese cultures.
The Grand Istana Rama Hotel, situated on Kuta Beach took home prestigious titles including the “Platinum Medal III”, a main award for the evening. The Hotel also took culinary awards for their traditional Balinese dishes at Warunk Cuci Mata, a restaurant located within the hotel.
