Scholars of Sustenance’s Kampung Program

The folks at S.O.S have recently expanded their services with an outreach program to bring valuable nutrition to communities in need. They are currently working with 41 hotels, 2 suppliers and a bakery scattered across Bali, allowing them to expand their donations to their plot village of Sidemen, Karangasem. The Kampung (Village) Program is a branch of the S.O.S’s program that allows elderly, physically and mentally challenged as well as people suffering from extreme poverty to get highly nutritious food, free of charge. The program has already been able to support two separate Banjars supplying hundreds of meals to each; multiple times per week. Not to mention their support to 11 children’s homes and three other reputable foundations. S.O.S work directly with the Mangku (priest), Banjar and local authorities to assure the food is getting to the people that need it most. Support the cause, visit scholarsofsustenance.org to help and donate!
