South East Asia’s one and only, Ombak Bali Surf Film Festival will be kicking off at La Laguna from September 12 – 15. Starting daily at sunset, the free of charge, action-packed 4-day festival will be celebrating their 10-year milestone with fantastic films, art and live music! The films will cover everything from the isolated coastlines of Angola to the most northern tip of Indonesia, and onto picture perfect Mexico and the gnarly breaks of Nazare. Expect mind-blowing visuals fuelled by wild adventures, personal pilgrimages and low budget escapades by those impassioned by the motion of the sea. The highly anticipated Indonesian premiere of Andy Irons: Kissed by God will be featured. Other film highlights include Dave Rastovich in Never Town, Changing Points about woman champion Yasniar ‘Bonne’ Gea and Big Wata following a group of surfers from Sierra Leone. See you at the beachfront wonderland for nights of watching movies under the stars.
