Indigenous Celebration to be Held in Ubud

In the spirit of supporting the indigenous from all over the world, Ranu Welum Foundation, partnering up with Antida Music Productions, will be presenting Indigenous Celebration 2018 on May 11 to 13. Taking place at ARMA Museum & Resort, Indigenous Celebration 2018 will be involving more than 20 different indigenous groups from Indonesia and also other tribes from various countries such as Aboriginal from Australia, Maori from New Zealand and Nagaland from Northeast India. During this three-day event, over 180 indigenous dancers, musicians, storytellers, elders and youth leaders will come together to learn from each other, celebrate their identity and share the diversity on the stage. The event will also be followed by two-day cultural educational event at the Green School on May 14 and 15. The proceeds from this event will later be donated to registered Indonesian foundations and charities that preserve the culture and environment of indigenous communities.
