Yes, that’s right. They told us that they were going to drop some more big news about their final special guest for the Sunday opening weekend extravaganza and in true Hakkasan Group style that it would be worth waiting for.

The latest reveal is the announcement of none other than the revered techno original himself, Richie Hawtin [aka: Plastikman], headlining the third and final event of Grand Opening Weekend, bringing the superstar lineup of international big guns to its conclusion on Sunday 29th April. (Marshmello and Martin Garrix head the first two days)
Whilst Richie Hawtin is both a pioneer and a true electronic music futurist, his stellar reputation goes far beyond the singular confines of the dance music space; this is an artist revered in the fashion, arts and design communities, with a musical presence that commands the attention of the world’s creative movers and shakers, opinion-leaders and artistic visionaries.
Through 25 years of his Plus 8 record label; his Plastikman production alias; his party concept ENTER & its Sake themed off shoot; to his innovative arts and music projects such as his collaboration with Turner Prize winning artiste Anish Kapoor, Hawtin defines the cutting edge of the global electronic music scene, earning a reputation as the world’s most revered techno artiste.
It’s only fitting that he’ll be playing the closing party of OMNIA Bali’s Grand Opening Weekend, hosted by the Phoenix party concept, the weekly party which sees Bali’s sunshine-dusted glitterati flocking to it each Sunday afternoon to dance to deep and underground sounds quite literally on the edge of the world.
A fitting close to what is set to be a weekend of epic proportions never before seen on the cliffs of Bali.
