Balinale Expands its Global Network

Balinale International Film Festival wrapped up its 12th successful instalment of film festival fun on September 30. The festival continues to establish itself as a key player in promoting Indonesian cinema, art and culture, as well as contributing to the growth of the Indonesian film and television industry. Festival Founder Deborah Gabinetti is currently representing the festival by attending several overseas industry events, beginning with the Tokyo International Film Festival this month. Deborah will also take part in the Film Programmers Conference for Networking of SEA and Japan as well as representing for the AFCNet at the American Film Market in California this November – where 7,000 decision makers from more than 80 countries are hosted for conferences, screenings and roundtable discussions. Her hard work and determination is sure to bring exposure to Balinale and advance the growth of regional filmmaking!
