A celebration of diversity and storytelling in film, the AAFF will be taking place at Paradiso, Ubud on May 4th – 5th. Unbeknownst to most, the two continents share much in common, both culturally as well as historically. The goal is to highlight these commonalities through film and to spark conversation between both continents while celebrating filmmakers and directors who are changing the way we understand, experience and think about the world. The festival program will include a carefully curated selection of films over the two days including three short films and six feature films including “Burial of Kojo” from Ghana, “About a Woman” from Indonesia and “Gaza Surf Club from Palestine.
