Chef Sanjaya – The Box Roasted Beef Rice Box

Having been at The Box ever since its opening last year, Chef Sanjaya really knows what to do to spoil food lovers in Kuta. Wanting to create something different that cannot be found anywhere else within the area, he came up with the idea of cooking rice box dishes, and the ‘Roasted Beef Rice Box’ (35k) is one of his best. Fusing Western and Asian flavors, this rice box dish consists of roasted beef slices, using imported brisket to achieve the desired tenderness. Seasoned with his special recipe, the thinly-sliced beef bursts with smokiness, hints of sweetness and spiciness that create a flavorsome combination. It comes alongside slices of omelet and steamed veggies, sitting on a bed of fluffy steamed rice. Topping it off, it is also served with gravy of your choice – either black pepper, teriyaki, rendang or curry. Now, that’s a tasty rice box!
