Our hunt for the Island’s best cocktails continues! This edition, we visited one of Bali’s top nightlife destinations; La Favela. Upon entering, we were captivated by its meticulous interior, from the charm of endless gardens and antiques, it seemed that everything had a vintage glisten in the early evening light – including their cocktails!
Enthusiastically hosting us was head Barman Nikita Fedchisin, hailing from Serbia with an impressive 15 years of experience under his belt. He highly recommended us the “ BKK DPS”, priced at Rp 135,000. This magnetizing purple potion was crafted using 10 hour vodka – infused butterfly pea tea, apple juice, cinnamon syrup, lemon juice and apple foam, served with a playful torch show. A wonderfully light tasting drink, with fruitful notes and the perfect balance of bitter sweetness, it’s a definite recommendation to compliment and accompany a La Favela dinner or precursor to party!
