Sacred Ground

There are a variety of seating areas available and we settled at a front area table as both my partner and I were ready to commit to a pretty big meal. Well, we did deserve it.
For me, first coffee – especially here. Why? The coffee they serve at Sacred Ground is the very same one they have at my favorite Revolver coffee shop whose quality goes without saying. And my iced cappuccino was of course amazing.

We were sharing delicious spring rolls for starters which we both loved. I went straight for one of my regulars – Sacred Ground’s Beef Burger which was perfectly divine as always. The patty was juicy and I absolute loved the wedges that came with it. My partner’s spaghetti bolognese was pretty darn tasty too, delightful and well portioned.

Don’t blame us but we decided to share another meal, yep – we were still pretty hungry! We opted for the classic Nasi goreng, served with fried chicken, pickles and prawn crackers and sambal which was still as good as I remembered. A glass of fresh orange juice needed before our most awaited dessert, Carrot cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream – it was sooo good, definitely a winner!

Meal after meal was a constant reminder of why Sacred Ground remains one of my favorites. I came across this place one morning while walking around looking for an early breakfast and it was a great find as beside they open as early as 7am, make amazing coffee, they also make some really good breakfasts – smashed avocado is recommended and one of many to die for.

Pretty much all the meals I’ve had here are great and besides, they are also well priced. Fresh and healthy as well as many vegan choices are available among their large and extensive menu.
