GELATO FACTORY

It’s always summer in Bali, therefore gelato is always a good idea (okay on rainy days too!).
Gelato Factory has got you covered for everything sweet and cool! They serve so many enticing flavors of authentic Italian gelato with plenty of delicious toppings to choose from. So many that you’ll want to try them all!
In the need for something cold and refreshing, we popped into their Seminyak location on a hot afternoon. I heard a lot of good things about their Nutella crepes so I treated myself with that plus a scoop of raspberry sorbet and dark chocolate on top. Ohhh, every bite melted in my mouth like a sweet haven – it was the best crepe ever! My friend opted for his favorite three flavors; strawberry, vanilla and blue angel in a medium cup which he scooped up real quick!

Needing more of the sweet goodness, I got myself each of my all time favorites; pistachio and mint chocolate in a cone. First of all, the gelato was super fresh and yum – definitely one of the best I’ve had so far, but what I love just as much was the cone—I could really enjoy it by itself. Yup, it was really that good. The reason why it’s so good is because it’s made fresh on site.
We were pretty much cooled off after all that chilly, sweet goodness, but we noticed the chocolate tap machine they have at the front counter and couldn’t resist getting another cone of pistachio and raspberry just to watch the chocolate pour out of the tap on top of it! Besides the fact that it tasted so much better with chocolate, it was also quite a delightful experience!
Don’t worry if you are a health conscious, you can still indulge on ultimate guilt-free treats. Gelato Factory strives to use only fresh and natural ingredients, no additives and preservatives involved in the making. Everything is made fresh daily and is gluten free (except a few that contain biscuit) and they have so many vegan options available too. Their ingredients are also locally sourced – except for products that aren’t available in Indonesia such as pistachio.

You can sample some of the flavors and decide which ones are your favorites and we won’t blame you, it’s quite hard to decide! The good news is you can mix flavors in a cup or cone and even create your own sundae! And oh, they have fresh and healthy juices available too!
Gelato Factory has recently made their latest expansion in the hip Canggu neighborhood. This third branch is located on Jalan Pantai Batu Bolong and supplies some more sweetness and chilly goodness everyone so desperately needs in this never-ending heat!
Come and see what all the fuss is about, there are five outlets around town to choose from! See below for the one near you!
