A brand-new restaurant has popped up at the famed Desa Potato Head, homing in on the plant-based diet and staying true to their sustainable ethos. Tanaman is an authentic Indonesian restaurant with only plant-based options on the menu, drawing on the nostalgic flavours of the archipelago’s classic recipes, using organic produce to create incredibly tasty and sustainable Indonesian dishes. The set menu covers the “Taste of Tanaman” (Rp. 350k) and includes their signatures like the jackfruit rendang, mangut janpis (grilled banana hearts), sate tempe and oyster mushroom sate to name just a few. If you’re a vegan or just want to taste Indonesian cuisine without the meat, Tanaman is a more-than-worthy candidate!
