Chris Salans Wins French Master Chef Award

Mozaic’s owner and chief chef, Chris Salans has just been appointed to the Association des Maîtres Cuisiniers de France (Association of the Master Chefs of France). After the ceremony in Paris on 10-12 of March, Chris was inducted into the prestigious body of international chefs who practice, preserve, and further develop the art of French cuisine. A title that is regarded as the highest classification in restaurant guides and mentioned in the world’s leading food and travel magazines. Recognized as one of the world’s leading French chefs, Chris is excited to bring more attention to Bali as a world culinary destination. After his move to Asia in the 1990’s, Chris opened the award-winning Mozaic Restaurant Gastronomique in 2001 and after years of hard work and mind-blowing culinary innovation he serves as a culinary ambassador for Indonesian gastronomy and an exciting mentor to young Indonesian chefs.
