If you’re looking for a perfect place with plenty of space and great food to hang out with friends, the brand new Eruption Bar and Coffee located on Sunset Road near the Imon Bonjol lights could be your next option. They offer a delightful fusion of Asian cuisine met with a western twist and some seriously good coffee to accompany it. This time, chef Wirata recommend us to get our hands on his mouthwatering Indonesian Oxtail Soup (IDR 110K nett). A slice of stewed oxtail served in vegetable soup which contains onion leaves, fried onion and tomato seasoned with spices, clove, nutmeg and ginger. As this dish landed upon our table, we could smell the tempting aromas coming from the bowl. We added some sambal, Indonesian pickles and emping, a traditional Indonesian cracker, for the complete Indonesian tasting experience. Get down there to try it for yourself!
