Date for 2: Mrs Sippy

Mrs Sippy is one of the coolest venues in town, whether you want to hang by the salt water pool and sip on cocktails, jump off their five-metre diving platform or enjoy a meal at their Mediterranean, woodfire inspired restaurant. Mrs Sippy is pure paradise and flocking with love birds, enjoying the sun and undoubtedly some of the best tunes on full rotation every day of the week with top resident DJs and regular international guests. In regards to the food, they serve a multitude of your favourite beach club-style food as well as grilled meats and fish using traditional wood firing techniques, not to mention the delicious pizza. If you are looking for a spot to spend the day, poolside with a tropical cocktail in one hand and a traditional piece of pizza in the other, Mrs Sippy is the place!

We kicked off our date with a quick dip in the pool combined with one of the Mrs Sippy signature cocktails, the Sippy Tiki (140k) – a spiced rum and sparkling wine-based cocktail, refreshed and shaken with raspberry, passionfruit, lime, pomelo and topped off with red bull. An absolute kick-start to our date! We continued with one of their poolside classic dishes, the Baja Fish Tacos (120k) and the ultimate classic pizza, the Margherita (110k) – which was cooked to perfection, crunchy on the outside, cheesy on the inside!

After the sip, dip and bite we opted for a table on the far side of the pool so we could have our privacy. A tantalizing duo from the wood fire grill streamed out of the open-air kitchen and landed on the table. The most tender Octopus (190k) and fresh Tiger Prawns (230k) both with their own chimichurri sauce and combining magically with the Charred Cauliflower (110k) and Tomato & Burrata Salad (120k) we had as our sides. Just yum!

We ended our wonderful afternoon of swimming, dancing and feasting at Mrs Sippy with a kiss goobye until our next Date for 2.
