A staple restaurant on Eats Street, Ultimo restaurant boasts wonderful Italian fare matched with incredible value for money prices. Their extensive menu covers regions of Italy with famous pasta’s, pizza’s as well as vegetarian and carnivorous delicacies. Traditionally cooked pastas like Ravioli Di Pollo, Fussili Valdostana and Spaghetti Marinara will only set you back 60k – 80k, appetizers like the famous Tartara Di Salmone Con Avocado is 50k and if you are a late diner, you can enjoy their meal deal menu from 10pm onwards, which includes a glass of house red wine complimentary with meals such as breaded chicken leg with barbecue chipotle sauce amongst the list. Ultimo will leave you feeling satisfied and it’s worth every cent!


Los Gringos
The hottest Mexican in the district, keeping it simple and fresh – Los Gringos have got the deals! Enjoy freshly cooked Mexican delights such as quesadillas, nachos, enchiladas, burritos, hard & soft tacos, taco bowls and more. But best of all, if you go any day between 5 – 9pm you can enjoy the all-you-can-eat for only 99k! With that incredible value, you can go ahead and enjoy bottomless Margaritas too for 150k between the same hours. It’s a gift that keeps on giving, eat as much as you like, with options like grilled chicken, braised beef brisket, BBQ pulled pork, panko crusted snapped and grilled veges – you can’t go wrong!


Rumours
Feel like dining somewhere lively? Rumours is a great choice and a long-standing institution on Eats Street for over 15 years! Their formula is simple – a large choice of western style dishes that will not break your budget, along with cheap drinks and live music or DJs every night. Anyone who knows Rumours knows that it’s all about the meats, seafood and western-style dishes. A scrumptious piece of mahi-mahi or baramundi will only set you back 70k -90k, whereas the chicken schnitzel, beef stroganoff and famous rumours pie are even lower at 65k. At Rumours it honestly feels like every hour is happy hour with 50% off selected whiskies and bourbons, big discounts on bottles also after 10pm and nicely priced bottles of local and imported wines, while the special selection cocktails for just 45k+.




Ginger Moon Canteen
Top chef Dean Keddel is the main man behind the bustling South East Asian food haven known as Ginger Moon. Their menu is designed with sharing in mind, so you and your table can taste several dishes with different flavors and savor the entire experience together. From steamed buns, dumplings, rice paper rolls to, pizzas, rice & noodle stir frys, grilled meats and specialties such as “my mother-in-laws” chicken curry! Ginger Moon makes you feel at home yet reminds you of what part of the world you’re in with eccentric and delectable flavors and textures. Most dishes are around the 100k mark but there are plenty of options around the 50k mark too, if you’re on a budget Ginger Moon is affordable and definitely worth the Rupiahs.


La Favela
Dinner at La Favela is an absolute treat! You might know of La Favela as a party place but if you haven’t tried their dinner menu from 5pm – 11pm you have been missing out. Stepping into the 150k – 200k zone, La Favela is a little pricier than the others above but well worth the experience. Each dish on the menu holds a personalized adaptation unique to La Favela, inspired by the flavours of Mexico and Spain creating tapas, starters and main courses that both blow your mind visually and conceptually. Stand out dishes that we have tried before include the Corn Risotto, Grilled Salmon Fillet with BBQ Jerk and the Chipotle Braised Short Ribs. And make sure you leave room for dessert!
