Pacha Festival Bali 2017 is coming soon!

The world’s best-known club brand with the two cherries is not only famous for its Ibiza club but has also been successfully organising Pacha Festivals in Amsterdam, celebrating their 5th anniversary in 2016. They also recently hosted a spectacular first edition in Tokyo. The Pacha brand is rocking dancefloors all around the globe, dominating the look and sound of the international house scene with its own unique style and this August they are in our part of the world and right on the beach in Seminyak.
On the 18th of August 2017, Pacha Festival will emerge for the first time on the island at the 5 star premium Anantara Seminyak Bali resort. On top of that, Pacha will be hosting their first festival in Bali during their 50th anniversary of the Pacha Brand. It’s a big year for them and a big high season for us. They are slated to bring their Ibiza vibe to the ‘Ibiza of Indonesia’ with an extraordinary party weekend with great entertainment, exclusive VIP events, and high quality food & beverages that will bring the original and luxurious Pacha atmosphere to the island of the gods.
The Beat had the opportunity to speak with Pacha Festival head honcho Hans Smit last week about the forthcoming super-festival and managed to find out a few more points about this major event.
Bali and the island of Ibiza in the Mediterranean, the home of Pacha, have always been compared as world party centrals, and as he told The Beat, Hans is a true believer. “I personally think that Bali is sort of like the Ibiza of South East Asia. A lot of the people working for Pacha have been visiting the island regularly and everyone agrees on the similarities with Ibiza. The people are very nice, the climate is great, it has a wonderful nature and a very interesting nightlife. The vibe is amazing here and we have been searching for the right partner, location and occasion for quite a while to make an entry with the Pacha brand on the island. Thanks to our partner Maxima International Productions, we were finally able to find the perfect location and creative organization and are now ready to bring some of the true Ibiza magic to Bali.”
TB: Looking at the visuals promoting the show, it appears the whole Anantara Seminyak Resort is morphing into the stage of the festival – like a huge stage from Tomorrowland or something. Will you have lights and visuals coming for the upper floors of the resort?
Hans: The beautiful Ananantara resort will be fully integrated into the stage design. There will be lots of lights and other visual elements coming from all parts of the building which will make it a spectacular stage like never seen before. I’m not going into details, because that would ruin the surprise effect, but I can assure you it will be unique!
TB: What do you think of the line-up for the festival? It doesn’t appear to be solely EDM. What can we expect?
Hans: The line-up is a reflection of what Pacha stands for. A broad variety in quality dance music without presenting one particular music style. We will have the legend Roger Sanchez flying in from NYC to play an exclusive set when the sun goes down, Fedde Le Grand playing his worldwide hit records and Steve Angello closing the event like only he can. Next to this we have a proper amount of up and coming talents, local heroes and undiscovered gems to make the line-up complete.
Well it sounds like a huge night and an absolutely huge weekend and week, for that matter, around Bali.  Book your tickets early, they are now on sale through the website link below.
