Hard Rock Cafe Launches New And Legendary Menu While David Trauts Moseys In For A Try

The Hard Rock Café Bali on Kuta Beach launched a new menu on Valentine’s Day last week and what better day to share the love — of food. It’s the first time in many years the HRC menu has had a major overhaul with the starters and burgers taking the lion share of the changes, but also the addition of fun time Boozy Milkshakes and the overall focus on shareables — plates to be shared with your friends.

One stand-out dish, quickly coming into focus on the new menu, was the new 24-KARAT GOLD LEAF STEAK BURGER. You got it, it comes with gold! The 227g Black Angus steak burger, topped with 24-karat edible gold leaf, served with cheddar cheese, leaf lettuce, vine ripened tomato and red onion comes in at a cool Rp 329++. Rp 20k is donated to Kopernik every time you order one of these so you are also helping the kids in the process!

All the burgers have had a super patty recharge which has lifted their burgers to the next level. As Daria, from HRC related, “The Steak Burgers, are created with a proprietary blend of fresh, 100 percent Certified Angus Beef. We are using a new blend of quality Black Angus beef in all our burgers and the new menu features our classic Legendary burgers to the all-new shareable sliders.” And let me assure you, the reader, you can very much taste the difference from the first bite. There are also three choices of the sliders for all tastes.

Daria then pointed out, “The menu has also become more shareable, since our HRC portions are known to be so huge.” The entire starters range can be shared between your friends.

The other night The Beat was visiting to try the new menu and we couldn’t resist sharing the One Night in Bangkok Spicy Shrimp (189k), the vegetarian Three-Cheese & Roma Tomato Flatbread (159k) and the sliders. From the choice of three sliders on the menu, we chose the classic All-American Sliders, consisting of three Black Angus Beef mini steak burgers with melted American cheese, crispy onion ring and creamy coleslaw on a toasted brioche bun. (Rp199). Man, what a tasty burger and a greta selection to share!

We then knocked ourselves out with a full rack of pork ribs. The Baby Back Ribs are 800g of the best quality pork ribs, seasoned with the tasty HRC signature spice blend, then glazed with their house-made barbecue sauce and grilled to perfection. It’s served with seasoned fries, coleslaw and ranch-style beans. This comes in at Rp 359k++ and is a riot of taste and meaty barbeque flavours. I loved the ribs.

There are a whole bunch of other new dishes on the Hard Rock Café menu including new sandwiches, salads and full blown main dishes. According to Daria, the new rib eye steak is something to savour. The Cowboy Ribeye is 454g of Grilled Black Angus ribeye topped with herb butter, served with golden mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables. (459k++) Obviously we didn’t have room for this meaty giant on this occasion, but I’m sure we’ll be back again to try some more soon enough.

Yes, the new HRC menu has taken the legendary venue’s food offering to the next level. Everything we tried was on-point, full of taste, large portioned and the service and fun times that you get at the Hard Rock Café is just a double bonus.

We recommend you stick around after dinner, enjoy a scandalously, alcohol infused new Boozy Milkshake, or one of their many delightful desserts and get into the live band as they start cranking it up for another night at The Hard Rock Café. You will thank me later that you did!
