Eagle Base Skate Park

The number of skateparks in Bali and especially Canggu has been rapidly increasing, as the sport has become more popular in the last few years. It’s obviously booming!
We can now find both outdoor and indoor skateparks in Bali quite easily, each with vastly different sizes and terrains – in fact, Deus Ex Machina isn’t the only Café with a skate bowl anymore.
Eagle Base Skate Park is the newest addition to Bali’s skateboarding community with all styles of modern skateboarding, inline and BMX riding, combining both street and bowl concepts. Situated in Jl Canggu Raya, just a few minute’s scooter drive to both Batu bolong and Berawa Beach, Eagle Base is open to visitors of all ages. however, visitors under 7 years old are usually requested to be accompanied by adult.

Opened in June 2017, the facility has already been packed with locals, expats and visitors and is becoming the happy place for skateboarders, inline skaters and BMX riders in Canggu.
Eagle Base aims to facilitate local talent to get into and develop skills in these extreme sports and in doing so help to turn Bali into so much more than just a surf destination.
Equipped with its concrete skate area made up of ramps, banks, boxes, ledges to stairs, you can enjoy a fun day of solid riding for only IDR 20k (if you’re a local resident) and 30k if you’re a visiting tourist. Now if you’re committed for a month’s ride, a monthly membership might suit you better, but you’ll have to wait until they applying a longer term membership payment method at the end of 2017.

Eagle Base Skatepark is open everyday from 10am to 9pm. They also offer private lessons, should you fancy some 1:1 sessions.
Eagle Base hosted a cool contest featuring Televisi Star on October 24, where both male and female divisions rocked the ramps with a whole lot of action, fun games and a delicious BBQ – so keep yourself updated for their upcoming future events, especially the grand opening!
