DJ AWARDS CELEBRATES ITS 20TH ANNIVERSARY IN IBIZA TUESDAY 26TH SEPTEMBER

DJ Awards will celebrate its 20th anniversary on Tuesday, 26th September, with a very special edition that will take place at Hï Ibiza, the new superclub by Ushuaïa Entertainment. Ibiza’s most talked-about new venue represents the ideal setting for the 20^th edition of the awards, which includes an official after party featuring many of the 2017 winners. 
Founded in 1998, DJ Awards launched during a time when the “Disc Jockey” began to have relevance never before seen. The electronic music landscape was changing fast and Ibiza was the catalyst.
Jose Pascual, closely linked to the night scene of the white island, is no stranger to these changes and he decided to launch the DJ Awards, a non-profit organisation that recognises the work, talent and originality of this new breed of musical artists. This was the start of the electronic music awards, whose transcendence is cooler and more internationally current than ever, 20 years later. Thus begins a new stage of the DJ Awards.
On Tuesday 26th September, this special gala at Hï Ibiza will serve as a double celebration of 20 years, and the continuing success enjoyed by the electronic music industry.
Since opening its doors for the first time in May 2017, Hï Ibiza is already proving to be the most talked-about club of the year. Formerly known as Space, the state-of-the-art venue has been completely transformed with a spectacular new look and the most advanced sound and technologies on the island features high profile residencies which showcase the most exciting names in electronic music today.
