Roots
TWRK is a New York-based duo that consists of Benzi and eSenTRIK. The men met on the internet where they would send demos and remixes to each other, leading to working on songs together. As they realized that they had good chemistry, they decided to form the group all over the internet and the phone. The duo has now signed fully to Diplo’s Mad Decent imprint.

Where you might have heard them
In the beginning, TWRK’s identities remain undisclosed. It was not until 2014 when the pair fully revealed themselves as TWRK, and while playing as residents on BBC Radio 1’s Diplo & Friends. They made their Ultra Music Festival debut in 2015, followed by other festival debuts at events like Hard Summer, Beyond Wonderland and TomorrowWorld.
Notable tracks
In 2013, the duo released “Badinga!” which made use of various vocal samples, laid over up-tempo production. A global breakout, this track gained support from Skrillex as he played it on his Mothership Tour in 2014. They released their We Are TWRK EP in 2015. The EP was made up of four tracks, including collaborations with Lambo and Fly Boi Keno on “Make It Bounce”, The Rej3ctz and Dougie F on “Spring Break” and San Holo on “Dump It”. They recently joined forces with OG Maco to produce a club banger titled “Do What It Do”.
Why see them
This New York duo has been making waves with copious amounts of enormous remixes and several originals, as well as the mixes for Diplo & Friends. Join them at Mirror on May 26.
