Sjoerd IJpelaar, better known as Suyano, grew up in Breda, Netherlands, where Tiesto, Hardwell and R3hab also grew up. At the age of 8 he started playing drums, which he combines with DJing upon requests during his sets. At age 16 he started to develop his own style and at the age of 17 Suyano started producing. In 2011 Suyano played on Dancetour Breda, one of the biggest Dutch outdoor events with over 20,000 visitors. Furthermore, his track ‘Airplay’, which was released on Nope is Dope in 2012, was hailed as Demo of The Week by Hardwell On Air, played in ‘Klosmania’ (Gregori Klosman’s radio show) and included in Max Vangeli and Congorock’s podcast.
