Stephen Day

UK-born DJ Stephen Day’s penchant for soulful house music seems to be his sort of homage to the disco era, and in fact in 2002 he had collaborated with disco legend, Nigel Wanless (aka Brutus Gold) to create a Studio 54 Night, an event so successful that they were asked to bring the show on tour around the United Kingdom. Day started DJ-ing when he was 17 years old back in hometown of Darlington back in 1998, and ever since he has been spinning the clubbing circuit, also dabbling with underground disco and 80s electro. He once again created a memorable night with an event called RAW, held in a club called Atlantic at Darlington, bringing in renowned DJs like Jay-J, Hippie Torales, Mr. V, Quentin Harris, and many more. In April 2008, he released a mixed compilation album under Universal Records, which went number one in Singapore, and in 2009, Day began to produce his own music with his own UK-based label, City West Records. Genre: chill house
