Nukewood | Friday May 13

Sky Garden’s Sky Dome Superclub | Friday May 13
ROOTS
As a music fan and collector, Nukewood has been closely following the local and overseas scenes for many years now. The Sydney-based DJ started off his career with vinyl, but soon turned his head to work with CD. With a hard drive full of tracks and a bag full of discs, he then thought that he was in need of an outlet to spread his music. This brought about the natural progression of getting behind the decks and bringing the music to the masses. Now well-established, Nukewood has house music roots planted all across the land down under. He has also built a solid fan base in the last few years, stretching into Asia, and even onto the epic dance floors of Ibiza.

WHERE YOU MIGHT HAVE HEARD HIM
He has earned himself a well-deserved #4 Australia wide and #2 NSW rankings at the In The Mix Awards 2013, as well as a regular booking within Sydney festival circuit, performing at Stereosonic, Good Vibrations, Parklife, Future Music Festival, Summafieldayze, Field Day Global Gathering, Space, Creamfields and more. Staying true to his labor of love, he calls city venues like Soho and Ivy home, and has headlined interstate venues from Brisbane to Melbourne, Gold Coast to Canberra, Adelaide to Auckland, Bali to Thailand, and even dropping by Es Paradis in Ibiza.
NOTABLE TRACKS
He collaborated with Fear of Dawn for “Smash Palace” which entered ARIA Top 10 Club Record. He partnered with Interlude for “Cosmo” which also had great success. As part of Night Dimension, his remix of Matt Sofo, Black Dogs and Dat Deal’s “Crazy Motherf*ckers” has managed to make the Top 20 of ARIA chart, while his remix of Dirty Laundry’s “Love is Crazy” landed safely at the Top 10.
WHY SEE HIM
His impressive ranks did not come without merit, and his performance here in Bali won’t come without solid energy and a high level of that passion for great music which his peers so often speak of. See him live at Sky Garden’s Sky Dome Superclub on May 13.
