Morgan taking on the decks at the new Azul Beach Club.

You may have seen DJ Morgan around the island before now, but since he is taking up a new resident position at the new Azul Beach Club soon we thought it a great idea to get to know this rising star in electronic music on the island a little bit more…

Originally from the South of France, Morgan’s musical experience began on the Mediterranean coast, close to glamorous establishments and talented artists who were blending harmoniously with the natural azure of the area. At the age of 19 he relocated to London, a city that is known worldwide for its influence in fashion as well as its rich and diverse music scenes. He spent more than three years exploring the capital’s unusual nights to extend his musical culture and his skills on the decks.

By 23, Morgan decided to move to Indonesia. He spent over a year in Jakarta entertaining young and wealthy crowds, through the modern and luxurious venues of this vibrant city. He then left the Capital to settle down in Bali and catch up with its fast-growing economy. New beach clubs, bars and restaurants are springing up all year round, creating fierce competition between increasingly innovative and elegant establishments. Recently, La Brisa, the latest venue to open in Canggu, is where you’ll find Morgan spinning most days of the week.

His constant evolution on the island’s dynamic music scene has opened him up to other amazing destinations in Asia. He performed in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok, and Phuket. With lots of love for music and nearly 15 years of experience in the entertainment industry, Morgan has been able to develop into an eclectic and cultured DJ who leans on a melting pot of genres to offer unique selections that have gained him many fans around the region.

If you would like to find out more, get down to Azul Beach Club just about every sunset for the next month. Morgan will be spinning the good times and good tunes from 5pm every day.
