Kollektiv Turmstrasse‘s distinctive cinematic take on 4/4 electronica, their releases on Diynamic, Connaisseur and their own Musik Gewinnt Freunde imprint have won many praises from all quarters. After the launch of their debut album ‘Rebellion der Traumer’ (‘The Dreamer’s Rebellion’) they were busy doing remixes for big name techno & house labels such as Cocoon, Get Physical, Soma, Poker Flat, Defected, Systematic and Traum, reworking multifarious acts including Trentemøller, Hot Chip and Terry Lee Brown Jnr. along the way. With live sets that involves over a thousand audio clips, the duo have plenty of space for improvisations, far from being predictable, and able to connect to the crowd on an emotional level.
