Nick Rijnders AKA Goodgrip is a Dutch MC, DJ and producer who has got a firm grip on life, especially on his blossoming musical career. Coming from a musical family, he started up playing the piano when he was only four years old. Beginning as an MC, his first serious introduction to modern music was with the group Capitol Sounds. It proved to be a real turn of fate as working with the group led him to Laidback Luke and DJ Irwan. All of his past MC gigs saw him increasingly inspired by all kinds of music, and he finally decided to re-enter the scene as a DJ.

Where you might have heard him
He has been the resident for Amsterdam’s Zebra Lounge, as well as parties like NopeisDope, MONDAY and Knockerz. He has also been invited to play at several gigs abroad, including in Indonesia, Morocco, Bulgaria, Malaysia, Venezuela, America, Curacao, Qatar, Bahrain, England, Switzerland, Turkey, Belgium, Germany, Spain and Greece.
Notable tracks
As an MC, he provided the vocal for Laidback Luke’s “Rocking with the Best” which was released in 2000. His discography also includes “Makin’ Moves”, “What You Know about This”, “Away from Me”, “Creative” and “Just You”.
