Hi Morris .. When did you become a Bali resident DJ?
2012 I started DJing exclusively for La Plancha and the following year the LYD group, opening La Favela and started playing there as well .. La Laguna, La Sicilia, La Brisa followed up and I was a resident DJ in all of them.
Tell us your background in music
Like most of the DJs I know I am addicted music .. I needed it so much that I couldn’t stop listening and collecting music. Never felt complete until I started DJing and sharing all this music. From beach bars to clubs, restaurants or speak easy bars I had to play all kinds of different genres which was never a problem for me. I love all music not just a part of it.
Favourite styles to spin?
Ethnic sunset beats .. disco .. and of course, open format.
Current Bali residencies
Just closed all LYD residencies with an insane party in La Favela and now I am preparing something new of my own not just behind the decks.
