Alex Metric‘s sound is rooted deeply in earliest styles of underground dance music, touching on disco, Chicago house and Detroit techno, as well as indie rock. The British DJ and producer has done numerous remixes such as Madeon’s ‘You’re On’, Foals’ ‘Bad Habit’, Depeche Mode’s ‘Personal Jesus’, La Roux’s ‘Quicksand’ and Bloc Party’s ‘One More Chance’. He has also worked as a producer for acts such as Scissor Sisters, Charli XCX and The Infadels to name a few.
