Sure to go down on record as one of the most unbelievably idiotic years on record thanks to the horror trilogy of Brexit, Trump and Pokemon Go, 2016 has lurched from one catastrophe to the next with startling regularity. Add to that a string of legendary music makers who literally met their maker (Bowie, Cohen, Prince and George Michael to name but a few), and I think we’d all agree that 2017 just couldn’t roll round quick enough. Fortunately between all the disaster, doom and gloom there were glimmers of wonderfulness. Here’s what we reckon were ten o’ the best. Peace out, Dan Ashcroft x
