Immerse in the works of famed Denpasar street artist Slinat (short for “silly in art”), as he showcases an exhibition at Little Talks Ubud until the 19th of November.
Since 2003, Slinat has captured and interpreted social issues through his highly distinctive mural art, creating some of Bali’s most iconic street art, notably the image of a Balinese girl in traditional attire whose face is covered by a gas mask. This exhibition sheds light on the rapid evolution of Bali, reminiscing on its beautiful past and reflecting on its current weathered state due to commercialism and capitalism.
